ChairmanJennifer S. Hemmers Jennifer is a third year medical student, originally from Wirral West. Policies regarding schools and the NHS drew Jennifer to the Tory Side when she was 16, and she hasn't looked back since, repeatedly holding committee positions both with SUCA, and also the Wirral West Conservative Future. She also enjoys playing rugby, and had just finished a term as President of the Woodpeckers WRFC. In the future, she hopes to be an obstetrician. |

Ben Huntley Ben is studying BSc Biomedical Science at the University. Originally from Scotland, Ben's main political interests are maintaining the integrity of the Union of the United Kingdom and the UK's sovereignty outside of the European Union. A fiscal conservative, Ben is determined to empower SUCA to become one of the most successful societies on campus. Outside of politics Ben enjoys sailing, music, theatre and English Literature. |
Mike Dowsett Is a second year History student at the university. Likes campaigning out in Southampton, reading (esp. political stuff!) and watching repeats of Have I Got News For You on Dave. Mike Hopes to make SUCA the most visible campaigning society on campus and in the city in 2009/10. |

Katharine Nightingale Kat is reading medicine & is in her 5th year of study in Southampton. Hailing from Westminster, she is well connected with members of Westminster city council. She is particulary interested in the issues regarding the future of the NHS, the economy & issues concerning the average taxpayer. Kat enjoys socials and is a very gregarious and admirable individual! |
Sam Lewis Sam is a second year Computer Science student. Coming from a family running a business, Sam's main political interest is the economy and taxation after seeing its effects on people first hand. Sam comes from rural Shropshire, so before University had not experienced much political activity, but is currently enjoying the change of lifestyle in Southampton. Outside of politics, Sam enjoys football (as a Liverpool fan), computer programming and the musical styles of Radio 2! |
